SMALL-SCALE SHIP-TO-SHORE GAS TRANSFER
In the last few years, liquefied gases and LNG specifically, have significantly increased in the transport sector and in gas-to-power projects being developed in remote and isolated locations.
The operational methods and requirements are significantly different when compared with the more conventional and larger scale operations involving ship-to-ship (STS) bulk loading between gas carriers and terminals.
For unloading from or reloading to small gas carriers or barges, for refueling plants or for loading to LNG-powered ships (bunkering operation), for the coming carbon dioxide (CCUS), ammonia or hydrogen fluids, MIB can provide equipment for any of these applications, ensuring tailor-made designs suitable for the most varied transfer configurations.
